My gut says yes, but I don't want to "confirm" for a friend without confirming for myself. Anyone know? 04ctd Posted February 18, 2011 Report Share Posted February 18, 2011 i could not see the pics on the link, anyone else done this? how much did he have to hack into the structure of the dash? we have a D3 in our one truck, bought wife a used 2000 tahoe to tote kids in. was just gonna pop a used D3 in it, instead of the hassle of learning a new radio. 1loudls Posted August 16, 2011 Report Share Posted August 16, 2011 I have the d 3 in my 2004 gmc yukon of course you do, 03 and up chevy/GMC truck's, tahoe's and burban's come from the factory with a double din radio, so putting a D3 in is so easy a caveman could do it, however in 02 and older trucks/SUVs have a din and a half radio so it is not just a pull and replace kind of deal and why there are all of the steps in the above links to cut and modify the dash. i mean i have a DD radio in my lincoln, but that doesn't help the OP any either!
