drjekyl Posted March 14, 2010 Report Share Posted March 14, 2010 Currently has stock radio...no nav, I have the D3 in my envoy but the only caveat is the scrolling feature that is painfully slow...appears to still filter to the newer models. Trying to stay under $1200 and was looking at the Kenwoods because of this. Do any if the newer Pioneers have it where I can choose a letter to begin with as opposed to scrolling from "A" everytime? Also, for the hacks, the D3 was a breeze, I definately want to be able to access all NAV functions while driving so please recommend me a unit that's fairly easy to hack. The D3 is just too dated to purchase and the HD maps are excellent...would like pros and cons of the Garmin based maps on the Kenwood also. I like Pioneer but am open to all criticism.....thanks.
