harley909
So, I can buy a NEW COMPLETE GEX-P920XM on eBay c/w 2 YEARS of XM Everything Service for $170 plus shipping. Total bill to my door in Canada would be $233.00. The 2yr Canadian package for XM is $329 plus taxes and Royalties....more like $400 when the dust settles. Seems to good to be true. Wonder how a person could protect themselves from getting this on eBay and having it expire after one year or one month or any time before the 2 yrs is up? Any thoughts? PaisanNYC
Simple answer is, you can't protect yourself in this situation. The seller can simply call up XM, with the Radio ID in hand, and cancel the remainder of the service and have a refund sent to the billing address on file, which is the seller's address. Buyer Beware.
