MSmith
Hey folks, Doing the hardware bypass on the AVIC-X910BT. Following the instructions on youtube. I lifted the white tab and pulled out the yellow wire safely. Now I'm trying to put the yellow wire in it's new spot. However I can't get it all the way in. Don't hear the "click" he mentioned and I don't see the metal from the wire tip at on the harness. The metal tip on the wire end is face up so I'm not sure what else I should be doing. Is there a trick? Should I just keep pushing hard? I don't want to damage the wire or the harness so I wanted to check before trying to jam it through. On the video he's using very little effort it seems and he gets it in. Ideas on what I could be doing wrong or what I could be missing? Thanks!
MSmith
Woops...Nevermind. I'm an idiot. When he said the "nipple" of the metal wire tip should be up, I thought he was referring to the other side. In other words...it was upside down. Freakout over...thanks!
