These updates should have been split up. I can see 200 for updated maps, but to bundle them with the UI update is absurd. UI should be a free download and then I could upgrade the maps at 200 when I'm ready.

Well not to worry, I went ahead and purchased my copy already so when it arrives I'll make an ISO and share whatever info you guys need... If you guys wouldn't mind donating a few bucks through paypal that would be appreciated too

 

I'm on my way out of town right now, but will hopefully be buying the upgrade in the next few days. My wife is even more excited than I am after watching the demo videos (she's a Pandora nut)!

We'll see how the install/update goes, and like mrt2, will also post whatever info you guys need.

Well most companies just give you the option to drop another 1500 to 2000 for the updated UI of the new unit. Man some people are the most whiny, ungrateful people. You people really don't understand what your getting for 200 dollars.

I will gratefully donate at least 50 dollars if I get it crack which should be a piece of cake. I had crack all kinds of software that are way difficult than this to crack. I just need that iso and maybe a couple of registration code to find the pattern onboard the iso. We need to keep all the value code information under private message just in case pioneer wants to act agains us.

I have a friend who ordered it for his Z110bt so could I use his after he installs it on his unit? I don't know how this stuff works so will I have to do something special?

Vblue42, I understand what you are saying but you need to understand where some of these people are coming from also. Many of them paid 1000-1500+ for this unit not even a year ago. Now they are being asked to shell out another 200. Now they don't have to get this update but if they want the updated maps then......

I don't mind paying 200 for the features but like I stated before. I did not pay any where close to retail for my unit. I'm sure the update is worth the money. Its just that some are a little irritated that they just plopped down so much for this great unit then to be hit with this.

Hit with what? Your paying for a map upgrade just like you always pay for map upgrades. They just happen to be adding new features to the unit. Features that they have never added to any map upgrade to this level. Again, they could have just said screw all the 110 owners and not gave any of you the opportunity to get what you get with the new unit. The map upgrade alone for the 110 without the new features would have cost 150-200. At the worst case scenario, your only paying 50 bucks for practically a new unit. A new unit that cost 1399.99 if you buy it new now. With any other company, you have to buy the new unit if you want the new features. Pioneer is the only company that is selling you a map upgrade and throwing in the new unit for 200 dollars. Do you people seriously not see that?
