jks12589
I have the x920 and I just installed HIDs in my mustang. When I turn them on the radio goes quite. When I push a button everything comes back on. The amps still have a power light on. But no sound till I hut a button on the head unit. I have full digital ballest. Anyone know a fix. rgarjr
Do the aftermarket HIDs have a relay? Is your illumination wire to your radio hooked up? What happens if you disconnect that wire?
VBLUE42
Remove the relays on the power wire to your HI.I.D.s and connect the H.I.D.s straight to the car harnesses and your problem will go away.
rgarjr
U can try and install a diode on the coil of the relay, that may also work.
Edwez1
really i posted the exact same problem and noone could help me out. I ended up calling up the kind at pioneers tech support and spoke to him cuz my stores distrobutor said to call this guy. He said to try to ground one rca cable, just the outside. He also wanted me to text and see if the internal amp shuts off when it does it and it does. However the grounding of the rca cable seems to be working. No problems as of yet. Give it a shot and let me know, as per i have an 02 mustang with hid and the exact same problem.
