TheMichael Posted July 28, 2010 Report Share Posted July 28, 2010 Hello. Just picked up a X920BT and the install seemed to go well. Powered up and have absolutely no sound. Used the dealer-supplied harness and all wires seemed to match up fine. Could the factory amp not be turning on? Matched up the blue to blue. Thanks for any input you may have. 1loudls Posted July 30, 2010 Report Share Posted July 30, 2010 it does sound like the amp is not turning on, or there is no sound coming out of the avic, first off, blue on the AVIC is not amp turn on, blue/white is, blue is the power antenna control wire (it drives me crazy that a lot of car harnesses make it blue when it should not be) however if this was your only problem, then you would have sound ONLY while the radio was playing and not for CD, IPOD... if you can get a test speaker to hook directly up to the avic, you can test to make sure that there is sound coming out of it.
