giddy169
Has anyone had issues with there F90BT playing the old ipod 5th generation? It will sometimes play one video but most of the time it wont. I just updated with the FX3.1 and still I get the same thing. The music plays fine and it plays video from the dvd drive. giddy169
Yeah it is really annoying. I have tried a different ipod and I get the same thing. It might play one video then when I select another I get a black screen and it wont show the movie name or anything.
ghostdunks
Ah I had this same problem with my 5th gen. What I found was that, its not that it wasn't able to play the video or whatever intermittently, it would just start playing and pause/stop immediately. Try this, next time it happens(ie. no video comes up when you play it from the menu), press play on the knob(I think its either Up and Right), and see what happens? It always works for me to actually start the video playing.
VBLUE42
Where did you purchase your iPod cable?
giddy169
Thanks ghostdunks when I push right on the knob it will play the video now. Wish I knew why it did this, but thanks a lot. The ipod cable came with the f90bt, it was from pioneer.
ghostdunks
Ah, good to hear that worked. It was worrying me too when it first happened to me, luckily I found some obscure reference to the video stopping hidden somewhere on this forum, and the fix they said was to press play again. Still not sure why some videos do it and others don't.
