(F700bt)Contact's name won't display on incoming calls

Hi everyone, i'm a french "avicist", i've just done the update on my F700BT from 1.9 to 2.009. I use an iphone 3gs, it transfers all the contacts, but when there's an incoming call, even it's from a registered contact, it only displays the phone number.

 

I've searched on this forum but " i still haven't found what i'm looking for..."

I would like to know if this is fixable aswell. Even my old Parrot would display the Caller ID. My F9110 just displays the number, so i have to pick up the phone to see who's actually calling

For me sometime the name appears sometime not ???

Hi,

I had a problem with this and I solved it by making sure that my address book number is exactly the same as what is coming in. Some systems are smart enough to ignore the "+" sign and just match on country code area code and phone number, this isn't.

Being in NA I had to make sure that all my numbers in my BlackBerry contacts were in this format:

 

+15145551212

 

Because when a number was calling me it was coming in as:

 

+15145551212

 

not as

 

15145551212

 

 

Once I did that it worked, resent my contacts to the AVIC it worked. You might want to give that a try.
