x710bt won't let me update, access setting, or navigate

I haven't done any hacking or modding on my deck. I got in the car after doing some grocery shopping and all of a sudden the map, menus, and some of the menu graphics on the radio presets screen were gone. I then got home, turned off the car and started it back up, everything came back, or so I thought. I can no longer find or pick a destination nor does my map display street names, also in the settings I can't access Nav Settings or System Settings.

 

I quickly downloaded the latest firmware and went to update but the system doesn't read the SD card at all, it just boots up like normal.

 

Any ideas or suggestions???

 

This is my second avic deck in the past 1.5 years, my last (700bt) caught the rebooting disease then one day just died.
