BoneKTiki Posted October 30, 2010 Report Share Posted October 30, 2010 I want to the AVIC-X920BT in my 2004 Sportstrac. Some are saying that it will not fit. I have the standard 2 DIN radio with the factory subwoofer. When I read the demensions of the X920 Unit versus my opening it seems like it will fit. Any help would be great. 1loudls Posted November 2, 2010 Report Share Posted November 2, 2010 a DD unit will fit in any 01-05 sport trac, you will need a dash kit, one compatible model is the scosche FD1330B you will also need a wire harness, make sure you get the right model for a factory subwoffer like the metra 70-5519, you will also need a resistor to go inline with the remote amp turn on wire to keep the factory sub from "popping" every time the radio is turned on and off, a 1500 ohm resistor should work fine Quote Link to post Share on other sites
