chillaxtodamax
hi guys, I couldn't really find the answer in the F series forums. Can you elaborate on the BT200? Is it the CD-BTB200?? Or the AS-BT200? I have the Avic-Z1...and would love to get bluetooth streaming to work!
Dark_Knight_06
I have the Z2 (with the Z3 upgrade) with the CD-BTB200. It worked great with mu iPhone 3G for BT Audio. Switched to an LG Thrill (Droid) and can only do Phone.
chillaxtodamax
thanks for the info DarkKnight...anyone know about iPhone4S's compatibility with CD-BTB200? I don't want to buy this and realize $150 later that it doesn't work!

royalh
Bumping an old thread... hopefully won't need to start a new thread.... I used to have an iphone and I used the Apple Composite cable to plug directly into the Z2 and play music/video. Now I have a Samsung Galaxy Note II and would like to be able to play music (and ideally video too) from my N2 to the Z2. This thread seems to have people who use the CD-BTB200 ($180) and the AS_BT200 (much more reasonable $99). Neither of which Pioneer indicates are compatible with the Z1/2/3 models... Can anyone confirm that one or the other or both units will work and stream music to the Z models? Thanks!

Flapjack
I just stumbled onto this thread and nearly fell out of my chair. I have the Z1 (upgraded to Z3 w/2010 maps). I'm pretty sure I have the CD-BTB100, which only allows for hands-free calling and such. Is it as easy as just swapping out my 100 adapter for the 200-series?
GS FONZY
The easiest way I found was to add a dongle. No function changed for hands free, no call or sound issues. My iPhone 5 connects to both bluetooths, hands free and music streaming. To add the the dongle will be around $20.
Crakavelli
I ordered one of these to try out on my Avic-Z1, it creates a small wifi network and you stream thru Apple Airplay while your phone stays connected to LTE or 3G. http://www.amazon.com/AirEnabler-Adapter-Kit-Apple-AirPlay/dp/B00EZWVZ44/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1393183541&sr=1-3&keywords=airplay
