VBLUE42 Posted November 30, 2010 Report Share Posted November 30, 2010 Pretty much any BT phone will work for hands free operations but the problem your going to run into is having the phonebook info sent to the unit. Most modern phones now only support having the phonebook info "pulled" from the phone by the controlling device. (D3) The problem is that the D3's BT module does not support this BT protocol. You can only "push" the phonebook info from the phone to the controlling device so it will be imperative that you select a phone that supports the OPP (Object Push Profile) BT protocol in order to be able to select phonebook entries from the unit.
