Bantambunny Posted December 10, 2010 Report Share Posted December 10, 2010 Hi all, just to say for reference i had the usual problem of the iPhone not charging on the AVIC D3 and after reading a few threads thought i'd give the cablejive adapter a quick test. The problem i had before was the warning: you cannot charge from this accessory which was annoying to say the least. Plugged the adapter in without the additional charging wire (it takes a mini usb connector which then can go into the lighter socket) and it sparked up straight away, charging symbol, battery kept at 100% for the whole of journey and still full ipod control! I'm running the latest iphone os at the moment and it works a treat. Still haven't fixed the problem trying to play video off it but at least i'm able to charge as i drive now!
