I'm currently based in Australia and I'm thinking about taking the plunge into buying one of those discounted F900BTs from the clearance shop. I've done some research and it seems this unit is a really good buy. What I need is more user feedback on the v3.0 software. I think pioneer ships them with the new software which has been reportedly to be a massive improvement - but is it still good? Is there anything I should look out for? Does it come with an ipod cable? I know I will need a SWI-PAC for the audio controls, dash kit and perhaps the parking brake bypass? Also, does it support any reversing camera or would I have to fork out for a pioneer one? Cheers! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
1loudls Posted January 3, 2011 Report Share Posted January 3, 2011 any camera will do, there is nothing to buy for the bypass, just steps that need to be followed, the F900 does not come with a ipod cable, the f90 does (at least in america) and as long as you are aware of all of the glitches and are OK with them for the price you will be saving, then go with it, however if one of the 920's can be found for not that much more, i would strongly consider it. UncySpam Posted January 17, 2011 Report Share Posted January 17, 2011 I bought an F900BT from the pioneer clearance shop about 2 months ago, and it came with an ipod cable... so don't buy one till you get it as it may come with it.
