ADE
Thanks. I actually hit the reset button for distance this morning. Right now the sensor is initializing. I'll keep you all informed. i would think that not resetting it would even confuse it more, since it would be expecting to see a signal, no signal at all would make it think that it is parked and it would be constantly arguing with its self. Loe Saturn
I'd be interested to know how accurate it it by just using the antenna. Windshield mounted GPS units only use info picked from their internal antenna. No VSS connection, no backup wire connection. And they're pretty accurate.
1loudls
it really doesnt need VSS for areas that you receive great signal, its more for keep its accuracry up while driving in cities with tall buildings that can block sat reception or driving through tunnels. Deuceb
I also have the X930BT. I was having the same problem. The location of my vehicle was different from what showed on the GPS reciever. I changed to main GPS unit and also the antenna, but the problem still existed. The real problem is the vehicle speed sensor. If you go to the 3D calibration screen the MPH should to the same speed as your car is going.
