N1 problems using service menu.

I have an avic-n1 installed in my vehicle. The calibration has been off on the left

side of the screen for the last four months. I found directions on how to calibrate

the screen using the service menu. The first step in the recalibration process is

tracing around the screen. Whenever I do this and hit band to go back to the menu

it displays a message that says "Invalid by the outside of a permissable value" and

doesn't change the settings. The next two steps of the calibration cannot be completed

eather because the screen is so far off.

Any help with this would be great.
