billabong687 Posted January 26, 2011 Report Share Posted January 26, 2011 hey guys, i have tried multiple times to update my avic u220. i have followed the instructions exactly and downloaded the zip file after entering the media number and device number. i noticed that it tells me to drag two files to an SD card and then put it in the avic u220. however the instructions say to drag a CRF file, but the file i downloaded contains a CIF file... ... this is frustrating me because every time i put the SD card in, i get a message stating that "this version of data is incorrect and cannot be used"... wooward Posted January 28, 2011 Report Share Posted January 28, 2011 I did the same thing as you said. Moved a CIF file even though the instructions say CRF. It worked for me. I used a 2GB SD card formatted to FAT32. AVH-P5200BT with AVIC-U220. Don't know what could be wrong for you. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
