garrettoomey
If it came from me, then it's permanently unlocked. No need to do this step.
oldpapa49
Yup it did and it is not locked. I did see the folders/files so that confirm that it unlocked. My issue seems to have been the USB to IDE interface. I copied all that I needed, got an older computer out and hooked it up, installed files and loaded the HDD with the 2012 maps. That worked.. I had unlocked the original drive with the zip you made last night and loaded my org backup and then updated it.. So I'm set. Now the trip next Friday.. Vacation with new maps TY Garrettoomey

jwq
get the zip-file from garrettoomey: http://avic411.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=14384 unzip, which will get you the .iso file. Use the Nero option "burn image" to write the iso file to cd

jwq
You need to unzip the file, then burn the resulting .ISO file to cd using the "burn image" option of f.i. Nero , so don't write the file directly.....
