firemedic624
I am trying to find out if the AVH-P3200BT will support the use of an enclosed SATA 2.5" hard drive. The folks at Best Buy say it will, Pioneer customer support says it won't, Crutchfield says maybe and the manual says just says something vague about USB mass storage devices. I would really like a definitive answer. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tim

backwerd
I just did this with a 500gig ext 2.5in sataII laptop drive in an external usb3.0 enclosure and it worked just fine i had an issue at first due to win7 wont format any partition over 32gig with fat32 it wants to use exFAT or NTFS which neither of those formats worked and gave me ureadable file issue on the pioneer I was able to format the entire 500g drive however with paragon partition mananger to fat32 and now it works without issue and powered by the USB connection. the enclosure and drive were less than 100$ Which is alot better than +200$ for a 64gig usb flash thumb drive. it worked the same as well on my brothers AVIC-x930bt
