Avh-p4200 only playing music vids when Hands on is in use. When controlled by HU theres nothing in music videos

Hi there. Any help would be really great. This is my first in car DVD. Now the only problem I have is that it won't play my music videos. There's a hands on an off button. Now when I'm controlling iPhone by hands off using the HU for everything I can go to videos and I am able to watch my tv shows and podcasts, however when I touch music videos there is no music vids displayed. When I touch the hands on button and control via iPhone they all work. If I click on a music video they play. It's really frustrating coz while I'm driving I can't use my iPhone and therefore I can't watch my music videos which is my main purpose for this unit. I am using the pioneer cd-iu200v purchased from local sports car shop autobarn. Cheers
