Parrot Bluetooth on AVH-P4300DVD

Recommended Posts

I ordered a AVH-P4300DVD to upgrade a FH-P8000BT in a 2004 Honda Pilot. I decided against an AVIC because of cost plus I already own GPS in a garmin unit and Iphone4. I wanted the 7in. screen vs the 5.8in on the AVH P3300BT because of the screen size and front mounted USB. I also wanted less cables exposed in the car. My FH-P8000bt is a very clean install with all cables for Ipod\USb and the AUX input fed into the center console out of sight.

Has anybody ever put a Parrot BT unit on a comparable Pioneer head unut to the 4300? If so which model?

I can always get the Pioneer BT adapter as I already own the IPBUS adapters for HD Radio and Sirius. I understand the Pioneer BT unit has limited functionality compared to the built in BT on the AVH-P3300bt and FH-P8000bt.

I'm trying to generate some viable options.....

Present equipment:

2004 Honda Pilot EXL

Pioneer FH-P8000BT

Pioneer Sub Woofer AMP under pass seat

10 in. Pioneer Subwoofer in back of car

Factory door speakers
