hluecke Posted February 28, 2011 Report Share Posted February 28, 2011 i installed an X920BT after moving the mute wire one pin to the left on the AV harness. i ran the other end to ground, and then connected the light green parking brake wire to the brake sensor (perhaps a mistake) the bypass isn't working (functions disappear when brake is off), so i am wondering if this is likely due to a bad connection on the mute pin, or if actually connecting the parking brake wire has screwed up the bypass. i gather from previous posts that the parking brake wire doesn't need to be connected to the brake, but i also haven't seen any indication that it shouldn't be connected. any help is greatly appreciated!
