spitfire1
I had an avic n2 in my vehicle. this winter i got in a wreck and totalled my car. I just got a 2003 tiburon. it came with an aftermarket cd player. after my car got totalled i went and took out my avic. before i took it out i looked and made sure it still worked. it did so i proceeded to take it out. this morning i decided to put it into my tiburon. i got it all hooked up and when i went to try it, everything worked but no sound. The blue lights come on, the screen pops out, the screen lights up and is fully functional, only problem is there is no sound coming from speakers. i dont think there is a cd player problem because it seems to be working fine besides sound. something else i also noticed is on the clock display in upper right corner, time says **:**. There are * insead of numbers. the cd player i took out worked fine so i know its not the speakers. is it a wiring problem or a cd player problem?

I have no input for you on the sound problem but the clock might be reading **:** because the unit is not getting GPS signal. some units get the time directly from the GPS satellite so if the unit is not getting any GPS signal the clock is essentially blank. the Eclipse AVN726E was like this as well.
