Bypass for Pioneer AVIC, AVH and dvd recivers

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I looked all over this site and couldnt find any wiring schem. how to bypass every Pioneer AVIC, AVH and dvd recivers. So here it is.

I choosen to use two relays for more practical issues like wiring extra amps, power antennas and much more. I also added a fuse for safety and if you wih to connect several amps. If you connect several amps directly to the remote wire from HU, you will propably kill the remote circuit in your HU.

This is how it works:

1. You turn on your HU

2. Remote signal will activate relay 1

3. Relay one will close the switch so you get current from battery, through a fuse and to amp, antenna ++

4. At the same time, relay 2 will also be activated

5. Relay 2 will close and ground the park. brake wire from the HU.

Easy as that. :) Hope you guys find this wiring schem usefull. :)

To mods: i didnt know where to put this ass this covers most of the pioneer HU.

forgot to add:

Terminal 31 on relay 1 can be used ass a source for Ignition power source ass long as the HU is on. I used this to connect 3 amps, power anetnna, car computer and some digital boost gauges and boost controller.

Just remember to calculate right size for the Fuse between battery and terminal 30 on relay 1.

(yes, i never turn my HU off) :P
