loufildis
Hey everyone I have a avic -d3 bulletproof unit since i bought it only problem was when I upgraded nav disc with disc from ebay ... then glitches started fixed with new original disc upgrade solved that .. not to my current problem ... I got rid of my iphone and with that iphone i had no problems using the phone features and playing media like music through the pairing of the iphone by bluetooth through y bluetooth adaptor from pioneer... well i switched to android and I am using the LG G2X ... when i pair the phone through bluetooth the phone features work through the stereo but for some reason the bluetooth audio is not paring and I cant get it to work for the life of me !!... this was one of my most favorite features to use on my stereo and I am ver disappointed .. what can i do here ??? is there and upgrade for software for the head unit ? ... or what can I do ? ... I hate using the aux input on the headunit because I get feedback while driving and it sounds like crap ? please guys and gals what can I do to be able to play media through bluetooth with my LG G2X and y avicd3??? weebeast
Hi guys, I have a lg 2x(the brother of the G2X) and had the same problem, bluetooth audio couldnt connect. So i found a fix for it What you need to do is the following! Go on your device(if you have android) too connections. Put bluetooth on and then scan for devices under bluetooth settings. Add the pioneer BT unit and you will see that calling works but audio not. How too fix this? Press on Pioneer BT unit and hold your finger. Then click on "options", you will see that there are 3 options Option 1 is called "Connection" Option 2 is called "Phone" Option 3 is called "Media" You need too disable "phone". Connection and media should be enabled! Bluetooth audio on the avic d3 will find your phone now and you can listen too music! When this worked you can enabled "phone" agan so both functions work(i haven't tested this part very well) Let me know if it worked for you! Works fine for me!

When you say "Press on Pioneer BT unit and hold your finger," do you mean pressing your finger on the phone or pressing it on the Pioneer head unit?
