I know it was just released and there probably isn't anyone that can answer these questions yet.

Is this an upgrade over the Avic-F700bt or even the Avic-D3? From what i can see is that the phone has to be plugged in for the navigation to work, or even the radio apps. So without the phone plugged in the radio's only capability is AM/FM Radio? What if someone borrows my truck that doesn't have an iphone.

I have an ipod classic with 90gb of music that will obviously not fit on my phone. So im guessing I would have to swap back and forth between my iphone 4 and my ipod?

I have used this forum for help with the D1, D3, and F700bt. So Hopefully before long someone will get their Appradio and be able to provide information about it for the rest of us.

With the MSRP at $399 I guess this is not even meant to be in the same category as the AVIC units.

I understand that this is a different platform... After having the D3, and currently a custom software f90bt I keep referring to my iPhone 4 for navigation because of its updated maps and live traffic.

I use my head unit to do the following things, listen to music, listen to podcasts, and WATCH VIDEO podcasts from my iPhone, all while driving (I dont actually watch the video, I listen to it but they are only offered in video).

Will I be able to do those things with this head unit? Also, will the sound quality be much different? I have a 12in pioneer sub connected currently.

I'm interested in utilizing all of the NEW features, mostly the maps, pandora, and contacts. the F90bt is TERRIBLE at bluetooth phone conectivity, and only lists a small portion of contacts.
