freaksavior
Hello people of the interwebz I've been reading up on this and i'm not 100% sure I understand if I got the right harness. I bought a Pioneed Avic z-120bt (figures since this is an avic forum ) off crutchfield and THEY said I needed http://www.crutchfield.com/p_127C2RAUDI/PAC-Audi-Radio-Integration-Adapter.html Is that all I need besides http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/CONNECTS2_CT27AA56.html'>http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/CONNECTS2_CT27AA56.html ? One person said http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/CONNECTS2_CTSAD002.html http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/CONNECTS2_CTPIONEERLEAD.html http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/CONNECTS2_CT27AA56.html is the better way to go, but I really wanted to order it all through crutchfield which didn't' happen anyway. Radio isn't really a big deal, I just wanted a in-dash GPS and better iPod support. So did I get the right thing, or did order the wrong harness?
freaksavior
Update: Ordered it anyway. Used the pac c2r-audi and the CONNECTS2 CT27AA56 Radio works great, blue tooth sucks balls, nobody can hear me, it's about 2 feet in front of me slightly to the right. I have lost the sub and most of the power to my rear speakers due to the harness not taking advantage of the factory amp. I have a feeling I need to take A) the pre-amps out of the deck to the harness for the rears take the wire leads from the avic wiring harness (Not the mmi harness) and splice it to some rca and run it to the pre-amps on the PAC harness. Since the front do not run off the amp that wouldn't make a difference either. I am not sure how to get the sub working without buying another amp for it, but if I do that, I will want to run the rears on it anyway so that might be a better option assuming I can narrorw down all the wires for the unit. More to come hopefully
