sd card on f930bt shows limited number of folders

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

i'm having a problem with my avic f930bt concerning my sd card.

I've got a 32gb micro sd card which i planed to top up with music.

According to the pioneer page the usage of sd cards is limited to 300 folders and 2500 files but

i can't get more then 15-20 folders on my card.

When I copy more folders then that onto the sd card the f930 will only display the first 15 folders and thats it.

When I re-check with my pc whats on the card it will show all of the folders that were copied

but those that are not displayed in the car don't have any content.

I even tried to create three main folders with the other folders inside but the result is the same

the "surplus" folders are cleared and not displayed in the car.

So whats the problem with that? Has anyone experienced something similar?

Hope anyone knows the solution.

Cheers, Rico

Some of the cards/jumpdrives/memory are fraudulant...don't ask me how I know. Well actually, I bought a jump drive that was rated at 16gb and it wasn't...wouldn't even hardly work. When I went back to complain, the seller was gone!

Does your card work absolutely perfectly on your PC?

I did not have any problems so far...

But obviously my sd card must be the reason for my problem because I haven't read of anybody else having this problem.

And the guys from support did'nt hear of such problems either.

So I guess you all can copy loads of music folders on your card as long as it's within the limits given by pioneer?
