ttuner333 Posted January 17, 2007 Report Share Posted January 17, 2007 so i had to unplug the avic to put in the metra dash kit and i did this in my garage where i have no gps signal, and my installer couldnt hook up the VSS in my car so now my navi is thrown off. when i am in my "HOME" position it shows my location a few miles off in the woods, even though i am home. anyone know how to reset my GPS location? i tried to manually chance my location in the settings menu, but it continues to return to me being in the woods when i am home, any help is appreciated! thanks! tillithz Posted January 18, 2007 Report Share Posted January 18, 2007 I have the same problem without resetting / disconnecting power. I live in the woods and the signal is poor, especially in my garage. from time to time it will put me elsewhere on the map, but a short 2-3 mile drive down the road picks up and returns me to where i should be on the map, try that, see if driving in a not so hidden area fixes it.
