MikeKelso
I have the Z110 with the 120 upgrade and a few months ago I lost the audio from my iPod. I still have control of the iPod through the unit and video playback is fine, just no audio. I have the Pioneer brand cable and the cable is just now a year old. I have checked the connections and they seem to be intact. Also, the unit itself is a refurbished unit. any thoughts on this issue? thanks Mike
rgarjr
Try another iPod to see if that's not the problem. Also make sure the 3.5mm connector did not get disconnected.
MikeKelso
I have tried a few other iPods in hopes that was the issue but unfortunately that didnt solve the problem. I will double check the connections again today, takes 5 minutes to get to so no big deal there.
MikeKelso
checked the connections and they were still good to go. I even pulled the cables out and inspected for cuts, cracks, etc... but they are still good. Also, pulled the unit out enough to remove connection from back of unit and re-insert it and also try and wiggle and apply pressure to see if it wasnt seating well. long story short, I still have no iPod audio. considering calling Pioneer on the issue before I install the "free" map upgrade. thoughts, concerns, anything? rgarjr
Dunno if u have checked it already, but.. make sure you have iPod under the AV1 settings.
MikeKelso
Well I feel silly. Your remark about the av1 settings got me thinking about the settings section. I had inadvertently turned my av1 setting to off while messing around with things months ago. Problem solved and i will wear my dunce cap for the next day or so.
