Travolta
Hi Ryar, I want to inform all of you, that TomTom is working now Just download the MAPS copy them to the Root of your SD-CARD without any other folder (if your map is DE_AT_CH_890_4234) just make the Folder DE_AT_CH_890_4234 on the Root of your SD don't copy them in the MAP-Folder. You can only use the maps between 890_4234 and 890_4236 don't forget to activate it. The GPS: Choose other NMEA GPS receiver GPS baud rate 57600 and PORT 6. My problem is IgoPrimo, it crashes always when I try to create a new route. ryar
Thanks ovallball, nice to hear from you too. How is your f500bt? Mine crapped out; the digitizer broke and would not accept touch screen commands. Too bad, at least I got several years heavy use out of it before it bit the dust. njrosenthal
So after spending my whole day off on this I'm running the Italian version with ryar's tts file. Talk about breathing new life into an AVIC (F90BT)! Absolutely amazing! It runs smoother than it literally ever has. All the audio works as well with the Italian storage card files. Only issue as of now is language stuck on Italian on stock igo and settings files. Other than that this is pretty damn sweet!
ovalball
Thanks ovallball, nice to hear from you too. How is your f500bt? Mine crapped out; the digitizer broke and would not accept touch screen commands. Too bad, at least I got several years heavy use out of it before it bit the dust. Both running ok at present.500 just running on Mr Blues mod and all is well.Still struggling with Primo on my 900 though. It will run ok then just freeze. Now running primo on Wayteq unit which has 128 M memory and running ok after 2 weeks testing.Would love to run Primo trouble free on my 900 but my patience just ran out! domann
Hi, ryar - nice work I'd like to add a few words about internet. I've got three usb modems: Huawei E3131 - it's completly useless. Probably it's too new. There isn't possible to switch it to Diag mode. After plug in it happens nothing. ZTE MF100 - LED goes red then green. It should be present at COM3 but it isn't. I've read a few posts on Russian forum. Some people had the same problem. I tried different registry setting - still nothing. After a few days I gave up. Huawei E160 - it works (almost) out of the box. I've plugged it in, created connection and it works. Of course I had changed mode to DIAG using PortSwitchTool. I hope every Huawei modem from SwitchPort.ini (setting file of PortSwichTool) should work because it is possible switch it to DIAG mode.

lala1
Hi ,i read a lot on this forum ,but i didn't instal the mod yet. Maybe i over looked it , but is it possible to put the the maps, buildings etc. everything from the map content on an sd card. I'm a truck driver and it would be nice if i could put al the country's of europe on it. And wich sys.txt do i need to change and how? Because i saw there where 4 sys.txt files, in apl2 ,igo, primo and primo3. This is what is under folder now in my sys.txt of primo3. [folders] has_secondary_root=0 sdcardpath="\my flash disk\APL2\" ;app="..\..\Primo" maps="..\..\IGO\content\map" buildings="..\..\IGO\content\building" dem="..\..\IGO\content\dem" poi="..\..\IGO\content\poi" ;voice="..\..\primo\content\Voice" ;data="\My Flash Disk\User\UserData\primo" ;tts_nua_v5="..\..\primo\tts_nua_v5" Thanks in advance. ryar
HI Lala1, When you launch primo it will 1st check if there is primo and its contents on the SD card, then USB and finally on the units memory (my flash disk) if the previous are not present. If you place the primo3 folder on the root of the SD card it will launch primo from that location. Simply copy ift from my flash disk/apl2/primo3 to the root of the SD card and edit the sys.txt. As for the sys.txt, each program (primo, primo3, igo) will read the sys.txt which is in the same folder. This would mean you would edit the sys.txt in the primo3 folder (assuming it is the Primo you would like to use) on the sd card. In order for primo to use maps locally (in its own content folder) you can comment out or delete the [folders] and its commands in the sys.txt. Note the primo3 is the newest release of Primo (Primo 2.0). There is no sound in this release except when listeneing to music via SD. In the Primo folder you will find an older version of Primo (Primo 1.0) and it is the only working release which will give you nav audio regarless of AV source. I hope this clears things up for you, if you have any issues or questions feel free to post back and I will help you as best I can.
