ThumperPup Posted October 29, 2011 Report Share Posted October 29, 2011 Best thing i can say is get the extended warranty on the phone that covers 2 years you can buy an apple care plan for like 40 bucks on ebay or 70 from apple cause i don't think its possible to stop the thing from charging only way to do that would be to get inside your cord that goes from the phone to the HU and see if you can figure out wich one of the many lines inside that cord are for charging the phone and then snip it that might work but i have never opened up a ipod cable before to see what the look like on he inside but other then that slicing open the ipod cable and seeing if there is a cord just for the charging and eliminating that then there isn't any way to shut the charging off Quote Link to post Share on other sites
