I see that the Pioneer EU site has newer FW updates for the F/X series, one even includes a WinCE update. (3.021 with WinCE 6.228, and 4.001. ) I was wondering if it would adversely affect the tuner functionality (AM, FM, HD, and XM), as they use different freqs in Europe, and do not use HD Radio or XM at all. pionara Posted March 6, 2012 Report Share Posted March 6, 2012 the firmware should not change the operation. I believe the differences are in the hardware. In fact, my hybrid-4.001 guide is based upon the fw downloaded from EU pioneer site. Cnsd-100fm update provides OS [winceimg.bin] and cnsd-200fm provided application updates. Maps/pois (igo content) is also specific to the region, but I use patched igo (ezrider.exe) and aftermarket igo8.3 compatible maps/pois for my region... Quote Link to post Share on other sites
