Update to use newer versions of bluetooth???

Recommended Posts

I assume this has been discussed but I can't find it anywhere on here. I have heard that a update may enable use of newer versions of bluetooth on the avic-d3. My new droid razr won't work. My old droid x barely did.

True, not true? Link to the update is possible?

Thanks, so much.

I'll have to post of pic of y custom install of mine. My truck only had a single din spot before.

I am having the same problem. I just upgraded my Galaxy Nexus to Android 4.04 from 4.02 and now it won’t let me pair my F700BT unit. The phone asks for the pair code but says it’s the wrong code when I enter in “1111â€. Does anyone have any solutions to this situation?

OK this is very easy, pioneer has make an upgrade for any bluetooth problems, download first version 3 driver http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/support/software/AVIC-F700BT/index.html !! Unzip file to SD card and put the 3 files in the root of the SD card not in a map.

· Press “Phone†and “Phone Settings†in the main menu to open Phone Settings menu.

· Put the SD-card which contains the update files into the unit

· Make sure “Bluetooth On/Off†is set to “Onâ€.

· Scroll down the menu by pressing the downward arrow on the left.

· Select "Bluetooth Software Update"

· Press “Software Update†button on screen to start updating.

· Update takes about 3 minutes.

Kind regards !! 8)
