Hi, I recently bought a car that has the F900 in it but since i got the car i have not been able to get the maps working, it constantly thinks I'm in france (I'm currently in Essex in the UK) and cannot pick up my cars GPS, it can route to address fine but then routes from Paris?!? :o

Any ideas on how to get this thing working?

Im currently running Version 2.8 Maps 1.X

I just bought an f710bt and before I connected my gps antenna it showed me as being in France. Once I connected the antenna it picked up my position straight away.

I assume you have an antenna connected ? If so, it must be faulty, or positioned badly.....

check antenna satelite signal. Sounds like you arent getting one. Try going to an open parkinglot with no tree coverage and restarting car let it sit for a minute or two (mine sometimes takes till I am out of my neighborhood, I have a wranger and if the hardtop is covering the antena it takes longer then if the top is off). After about 2 mins hit the map button again to see if it finds your rlocation (I sometimes need to hit map to get it to locate me) try this for about 4/5 minutes and see if this helps. If after this point you havent been picked up go to settings, navi settings, gps signal see if any bars are showing or if all are RED.

If all are red, youd need to take apart dash and see where GPS antena leads to.
