can anyone tell me where to start on my unit, i have a f700bt pioneer. map 01.000600 version 2.000000. i would like to update to the latest version can someone give me a step by step instruction on how and where to get the software. i really appreciate anyhelp.

IS THERE ANYBODY THAT CAN HELP ME UPDATE MY PIONEER F700BT, I AM ALSO WILLING TO PAY SOMEONE TO UPDATE MY RADIO IF THEY ARE LOCAL TO THE MANHATTAN/BRONX/YONKERS AREA.

Here is the link for to download the latest free version. It is version 2.008 there is also a readme for the changes. This does not include map/poi/bluetooth firmware updates.

http://www.pioneerel...ion/AVIC-F700BT Click Firmware & Software and you can downold the software and put it on an sd card and follow the PDF instruction sheet to update your device. The update takes in the neighborhood of 40 minutes to complete.

If you are willing to pay for the update and want to get the lastet version that includes updated maps, updated point of intrest database, updated bluetooth firmware and additional minor software fixes, and new 3D map mode.This is the 4.0 software (this is cumulative and inlcudes all prior 2.0 and 3.0 upgrades. It is part number CNSD200FM. It is not free because it costs money for the Parrot Bluetooth firmware and for the Tel Atlis map and POI data.
