I did a short search and couldn't find anything so I was wondering if the garmin GPS apps will work with the Appradio at all? I know the new Kenwood HUs support this feature as long as you buy the "Vehilce Display Integration" app upgrade but I don't want to spend the $100 total to find out...

If you want to be able to control the app from the head unit you are going to need to make that purchase.

Ok but does it work? I was just saying I don't want to make a blind purchase and waste my money not knowing if it even works with AppRadio...I don't currently have the Garmin app so I would be dropping $50 for the app plus the $50 for the vehicle integration and I would be pissed if it didn't work

Also it is not mentioned as an app radio supported app, so best to contact garmin before a purchase

My suggestion as well, call Garmin. And the AppRadio was the first of its kind so I highly doubt it not to be supported.

total bummer.... how lame. and that Garmin charges for the feature for Motion X Drive doesnt. i really like the Garmin StreetPilot app but am so disappointed every time I drive that it wont use the AppRadio's external screen like many apps (Motion X, Netflix, etc...).

Kenwood?  Too bad.  I was hoping to get that app on AppRadio too (https://itunes.apple...40864?ls=1&mt=8).  Now will Google Maps work fully w/the iPhone 5 and the Z150?  From what I've ready I believe so but there must be some limitations???

how can it be listed on the AppRadio list of apps when its not even supported by the HU.

Where do you see it on the list of supported apps? Its not here in the states.
