JazJon Posted August 20, 2013 Report Share Posted August 20, 2013 Woke up today to another safe mode, crash reporter says Primary suspect = _iPhoneRotator.dylib I went ahead and contacted the Elias (the SBRotator Dev) with the logs. I hope he's still active. A lot of these dev's get bored and stop innovating or get too busy with their real job etc. I can only hope he's ready to improve the app so our AppRadio will be a complete experience. If any experts come across this, feel free to take a look at the attached logs here as well. Ok, so now I wait for my new AppRadio 3 so I can join in on the fun! Recently I change my iphone 4 to samsung Galaxy 4. I want to only use ipod fuctions for play music. What options I have? - No A2DP Support?? (appradio3 have it. grrrrr) - some 30pin adaptor to microusb (only for ipod function) ? - Buy and old ipod touch 4g and always plugged? - The original hdmi cable from pioneer. It's posible coexist iphone 4s and galaxy4? 2 cables conected at same time? any other "simply" and economy ideas? If you want to use the AppRadio for both you and your Wife at the same time, you should probably get some kind of HDMI splitter. This one works great, and is self powered (and is automatic, it changes to last sorce detected) http://www.amazon.com/HDMI-3-In-1-Out-Switch-Cable/dp/B0018DQYQ2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1377001013&sr=8-1&keywords=HDMI+splitter I wonder if you can find a USB switch that will auto sense the last input used as well. (or maybe a simple manual switched one) There are several on amazon after doing a quick search. (maybe try ebay too) http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=a9_asi_1?rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Ausb+automatic+switch&keywords=usb+automatic+switch&ie=UTF8&qid=1377001097 This way you can have both cables ready to go! Add the lightening to hdmi adapter too if you want video for iPhone 5 and you'll have a better solution since the 4S uses that extra funky analog cable. shanedrummond Posted August 22, 2013 Report Share Posted August 22, 2013 HI Mike, I have iphone 4S with iOS 6.1 and i read through plenty of the posts, tried installing what you said, failed. I then tried to get an ipad going with iOS 5.1.1 jailbroken, AppSync'd 5.0 and cracked appradio 1.8.2 via itunes, and its just not loading onto the ipad when i sync. whats my next move? I have a house full of iOS devices and AVH-X5550BT direct from Thailand. everything about it rocks except what i bought it for... Help! Link to post Share on other sites
shanedrummond Posted August 22, 2013 Report Share Posted August 22, 2013 Ok just reread the FAQ for the iphone 4S with iOS 6 and went through the procedure, and so far its not crashing every time I add an app. So thats cool. I get the car back tomorrow and if this works then i dont need the ipad to work, although it would be cool to have them both working as i just bought the ram mount for the ipad... so gonna put that in the back seat centre and have ipad head unit mounts behind both seats... hopefully it all goes according to plan...
