The base issue is no sound from the N2 HU. I have the N2 and brain wired into a harness connector to the factory harness. The Stock BMW amp is in place with the stock wiring. I believe my issue is the AVIC wiring has no way to interface with the BMW amp.
The wiring connector addresses most of the wiring save Yellow/Black, Blue/white(amp) and 2nd black wire. No additional connector to interface with the white BMW connector block.

I believe the white connector block is for the factory amp.

Anyone who has installed into a BMW with a factory amp. Were you able to interface with it or did you just reroute the wiring to bypass the amp. I'm not looking so much for high end fidelity, I'm more interested in the GPS functionality. I'd also like to use the BMW existing wiring and Amp to retain the stock configuration.
The AVIC full configuration will be a AVIC N2 HU/Brain, XM module, Ipod interface, rear camera and voice command. BTW, the unit powers up, screen works, GPS functions, just no sound. For the test, I just hooked up the HU, Brain GPS antenna, radio antenna and the wiring harness to the car itself. I'll add the other modules once I get the base configuation working.
I am also looking for documentaion on the pinouts for the white connector block. Haven't found that info yet. I have the male connector block from a donor BMW premium radio to rig up the connector if I need to.
I appreciate any guiding feedback here.
Thanks! Rich
