Third party points of interest in Primo

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this is already known.To load your own points of interest into primo(or IGO) please do the following.

Create a folder inside your CONTENTS folder and call it userdata.Inside this folder create another one called POI.Inside this folder put your poi sets in the kml(google earth)format.When you reboot you can search for places and all your newly installed sets of POI'S will be there.I am still trying to figure out how to load your own icons to suit.Should have news on that soon.

Hi ovaball, I tryed that on my unit with AvicNet 2.1 but without success. I'm trying to share poi's and speedcams with old IGO 8 by this in sys.txt :

kmlpoi=..\..\IGO\content\userdata\poi"

kmlroute="..\..\IGO\content\userdata\route"

speedcam="..\..\IGO\content\speedcam"

but it doesn't work. I tried to create userdata/poi folder inside of Primo3 (primo 2/content) folder, but situation is the same :(
