I have already explained my experience in other threads, but:
Two phones: Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE, Samsung Galaxy S3
OS on both phones: Android 4.04
Update was done automatically as per my settings in the Play store.
White dots happened with both phones on initial pairing.
5 digit PIN comes up EVERY time the radio tries to pair with the phone.
I've paired it once and it will pair every time after I click ok on the bluetooth pin prompt. Happens every time I start the car.
I believe the issue is that either Android 4.04 or Samsung's iteration of if does not have the ability to trust another Bluetooth device. I really don't believe it's an issue with the AppRadio for that issue.
Note: If I run the Galaxy S2 LTE on Android 2.3.5 I DON'T have the Bluetooth PIN issue. If I run it on CM9 I don't have the PIN issue (of course, CM9 for that phone also doesn't support MHL, so I still lose).
Andriod Update 4.0.4 Appradio2 rendered useless
