AVM P7000R Car Video Master Control

Recommended Posts

It is like a HU with no screen, front panel, nor built-in player. It had a built-in AM/FM tuner, CD changer control, A/V inputs for DVD, etc. You would hide it somewhere and connect a monitor to it. It was controlled by remote. There were two higher models, AVM-P8000R and AVM-P9000R. They all supported RDS which was unusual in Pioneer's North American products.

It was kind of a cool idea, it's too bad they never came out with an updated version with touchscreen control.
