My gps starts off working then goes off course and i try to modify my location and still goes off course. Junk it or is there a way to fix this junk?

Have you tried resetting it? Maybe disconnect the power for at least 2 1/2 minutes then try it...

It worked fine today on way home from our vacation but it showed that we wasnt on the road and it showed that we were futher back than we were.
