OK, i have the Avh 5700dvd with the cd ib 100 II. On my head unit the music displays as if it were playing however there is no sound, it is an iPod touch 1st generation 8GB which according to the cd ib 100 II specs it is compatible...
help please, i have seen a question similar to this asked but the iPod that the person was using wasn't in the compatibility list
