mjruotolo
I am working with an arduino to make interface for my steering wheel control for my avic-z140 I am aware the make the awsc units but it will not do what i exactly want. I have found this link but doesnt seem to have all the option that the avic-z140 can do via remote. Example the Voice activate. http://www.jvde.net/...ired_remote.htm Can anyone shed some light? I need to know the Resistance valve to activate the voice active. Does anyone have the services manual for the avic-z140bh? Thanks Mike Quote MultiQuote Edit
pionara
http://www.elektrot...c-f930bt_sm.pdf I have x930bt, and service manual is probably the same in terms of the wired remote functionality. Looking at wiring diagrams, looks like these lines basically go into u-com controller chip for determination of which signal. I did see in the testing section there is a special test for each key of wired remote - seems like these must be possible. Sounds like a little bit of experimentation will be needed. A few resistors, a breadboard, and test mode for wired remote, you should be able to figure it out. please do share results here ....
