gracenote and map update. who can do for me.

I have a Z1 and would like to have the maps and gracenotes updated to current stuff. I am not interested in doing it myself. Awhile back garrett toomey was doing them but I cant contact him. Does anybody else do this if I send you my HDD?

Pioneer website says that there would be a final grace note update for the Z2's in October, can't find it.  Last one I have is from the summer of 2013.  Garrett if you are reading this maybe you can help me with this.  I bought the update to Z3 from you about 5 years ago via a new bigger hard drive.  It has worked great but updated maps and grace note would be nice.  can this be done without loosing the 300 albums I have already saved on my hard drive?  Or is there a way now that music can be more easily added to the drive than having to put in a Music CD format disc for every album.  I will PM you my email address.

Latest Gracenotes is July 2013.

 

There is still only 1 way to add music to the HDD (rip the CD).  You can upgrade maps, POI, etc without losing your music.

 

Options that will retain music:

1. Buy the official Pioneer update DVD

2. Download the upgrade image and follow the instructions that are posted with the download.  See hacks section for the torrent link.

Is the Gracenote CDDB data base from Pioneer a proprietary format? If Pioneer is no going to support this, can another individual or company create it? I sent an email to Pioneer, and all I got back was that my question would be forwarded to the software department.
