arrico21 Posted October 14, 2012 Report Share Posted October 14, 2012 My brother gave me his old D3 unit when he upgraded to a new unit, but I keep getting a disc read error. When I put any disc in the drive makes a good deal of noise then comes up "Read Error" in the lower left corner. I've tried the manual reset and even took the unit apart and re-lubricated the rails the lens glides on. The rest of the unit works perfectly. Any suggestions or ideas as to maybe how to resolve this problem? Or does anyone know where I could get a replacement drive? I couldn't seem to find any info on that either. Thanks!
