V8Monaro Posted October 30, 2012 Report Share Posted October 30, 2012 Hi everyone, I am in the UK and have just bought a 2005 Vauxhall Monaro VXR and am attepting to install my Avic-HD3 to it. Can anyone help me locate the VSS wire in the vehicle. In the USA the Pontiac GTO from this year is similar so that may have the same wiring. Any help would be much appreciated. shaferz Posted March 13, 2013 Report Share Posted March 13, 2013 Hopefully you've figured this out by now, but I found a link that referenced info for a 05 GTO. It says, "Vehicle Speed Sensor (Vss) output signal from the PCM connector (pin #21, purple wire with white stripe)." As always... TEST FIRST before hooking anything up.
