jloopa
Hey Everybody- I had an old D3 in my Jeep for about 5 years, and I just upgraded to a x940bt. It's a good unit, but here's my question: With the nav on the D3, it never really took me right to the front door of anywhere, it got me close...like 50 to 100 yards of any destination. I thought it was just a crappy nav. So I put the new headunit in my truck..all nice, looks good...I like it...but it seems the nav does the same exact thing. Gets me close, but not dead on. Is there a setting that I'm missing? My antennae is in good postion, and not obscured by any metal. Anybody have this problem? The Google maps/nav on my phone is rediculously accurate, I was hoping the new x940bt with NAVTEQ would be much better. As an aside: I put the ND-TMC10 traffic tuner in...and so far its EXCELLENT Anyone?
ncmudbug
I haven't seen your issue, at least to the extent you have. It usually gets me within a house but the problem I have is it doesn't say which side of the street my destination is on. For me that's an annoyance but not terrible. firebirdude
Make sure the VSS wire (pink wire) is connected properly. Also, how many satellites are you generally locked onto? EDIT: While viewing other threads to answer, I stumbled onto this one a couple pages back. http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/35749-avic-f920bt-navi-problem/ So there you go.
